5 Steps To Success
For my high school career to be successful I have come up with five steps in order to make this happen. The first step is to listen, If I listen to my teachers I will learn more and get better grades on tests, quizzes, and projects. Getting good grades in high school will help me graduate. My second step will be to stay organized, by staying organized I can navigate my papers easily and do my homework and classwork faster. The third step will be to work hard each year, this will be another helpful way to get good grades and to help me succeed. It can also help me to be more responsible and prepared for college. Step number four is to be outgoing, if i try out for sports teams, clubs and make new friends I will not only succeed in my high school career but can have some fun. Having all sorts of friends will help me to succeed by maybe having someone to study with, to get notes from, have class discussions with and help with homework and classwork. My fifth and final step is to study for all my tests and quizzes, if i study I will make good grades which will also contribute to my graduation and succeeding in high school these future four years.

First Human Geography Class
Today in the first half of Human Geography was spent catching up on the homework the night before and how most of us messed up on sending it in including myself. This took up about 15 minutes of our class time. While some of us were figuring out what we were supposed to send Mr.Schick, the rest of us were having fun and hanging out with the people we sit around and getting to know everyone. The second half of class we started to go over the syllabus on his blog site. It mentioned where to find him since the room he teaches us in, room 127, isn't actually his room. It also went over his hours that he is in the school building and our class website. The last few things it mentioned were the materials we needed for the class and mentioned the course description and things we would be doing this year in Human Geo. I am excited to learn new things this year in his class that I am interested in.

My First day experience
On my first day at John Carroll my experience was great! Each student I passed in the hallway passed a smile or was nice. The first few hours of school was just going around to different "stations" to meet the guidance, deans, ministers, or to get our pictures taken for the yearbook and our Harco cards. Once real classes started they went by pretty fast but I'm pretty sure that was because we started on a 2 hour late bell schedule. All of my teachers that I met today were nice and I was excited to be in their classes.During my off mods I ate in the cafeteria, the John Carroll cafe had really good food, much better then what I was used to at public school last year. I feel like I won't be able to have access to my locker that much because four minutes seems like a lot but all of my classes are all over the place and I have to carry different books to each class. This means I would have to go to my locker in-between almost every class. I have a good feeling I won't get lost in John Carroll because even though the school may seem big it is easy to find the classes. I hope this year will be a very good
first year at John Carroll.
