Review Day

In class on Friday we reviewed our tests that we just took. I did not get a good grade and apparently many people did not. Mr. Schick is letting people come after school to re take the test and get at least a 70%. Since I got a 48% I would like to bring my grade up a little bit so I do not have to stress even more for Human Geo exams. I studied really hard for the makeup so I can get at least a 70% and hopefully it will bring my grades up by at least a few points.

Cultural Geography Test

Today in class we took a test. I did not feel that I did not do well on this test, but I did try to study. Mr.Schick went to grade them in the same class period and I did really bad by getting a 48%. I really hope that this grade does not bring my grade down by a lot. He also introduced an extra credit assignment that will be to make up a rap. I want to do this so it can help my grades before exams next week. I am working with Kacey and Meredith and it is due January 3rd. It is a lot harder than it seems to write a rap. We have not done anything with this rap and all really need this to boost our grade a little bit this quarter.

Study Class

Today in Human Geo Mr.Schick had to leave because he had something to go to. During this class time we had Mr.Kimble as a sub and studied for tomorrows test. After we finished studying Meredith,Kacey, and I decided to complete the extra credit work on Mr.Schick's blog. The assignment was to write a rap about the world events in 2014 and to submit it before January 3rd. Writing a rap was actually harder than it seemed. We couldn't find many events or words to write it in. Since we have alot of time to do this project we will finish working on it before it is due so it can help us get a better grade in Human Geo before the quarter ends.

Who Wants to be a Millionaire

This morning in Human Geo we re-watched about the last 20 minutes of Slum dog Millionaire because a lot of people did not stay to watch the ending. I really liked the ending of the movie because it was a happy ending. I do wish that we could see where Jamal and Latika ended up in life and what Jamal said when he figured out that his brother died. I liked this movie because it showed a different culture than I am used to. Slum dog Millionaire showed how the Indian live because it is so overpopulated. Yesterday I was watching a reality tv show and they were in Mumbai, India. The tv show showed the tower and the train station and the slums in India. The movie made me realize what other peoples lives could be like and it could be completely normal to them.
